These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of swimwithallie.com and your request for swim lessons from The Allie Gator, operated by Allison VanNess ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the site or submitting a booking request, you agree to these Terms.

Our service

The Allie Gator provides private, in-home swim lessons and an informational website where you can request a lesson. The website is provided for general information about our services.

Booking requests

Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed booking. A lesson is only confirmed once we reply and arrange a time directly with you. Lessons are subject to availability and to the readiness expectations described on our site (your swimmer should be able to get in the water on their own, put their head under, and stay in without a meltdown).

Payment

Lessons are reserved and paid in advance; payment is what holds your time on the calendar.
We accept Venmo or Zelle.
There is no long-term contract. You will sign a separate service agreement with basic terms and liability disclaimers before lessons begin.
Because your time is reserved for you, the lesson fee still applies if your swimmer does not participate (for example, won't get in the water). Specific cancellation and rescheduling details are arranged with you directly.

Assumption of risk & liability

Swimming and water activities involve inherent risks. Before lessons begin, a parent or guardian will be asked to sign a separate Service Agreement and Liability Waiver, which governs the lessons themselves. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited, and the website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Text messaging

By submitting the form or texting our number, you consent to receive calls and texts related to your inquiry and lessons. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for details, including that we do not share mobile information with third parties for marketing.

Intellectual property

The content on this website — text, images, and design — belongs to The Allie Gator and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
